I've got range. we could just start and see where it goes.
@stound okay, start
@Stark what interesting things did you discover today?
@stound the only interesting thing I discovered today was a new seafood place with great prices. What about you?
@Stark hrm. there was an interesting article about research saying you can experience any emotion, so long as you have name for it. which makes me wonder if there are emotions in other languages that don't really make it to others... which might be kinda like the one that keeps being throw around recently from scandanavia... something about ... comfort? I'd have to look that up.
@stound Hygge is a Danish and Norwegian word for a mood of coziness and comfortable conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment. As a cultural category with its sets of associated practices hygge has more or less the same meanings in Danish and Norwegian, but the notion is more central in Denmark than in Norway.
@stound Well, wouldn鈥檛 it be natural for people to be able to experience any emotion ?馃 Even if they haven鈥檛 experienced a particular emotion before, they鈥檙e still capable of experiencing that emotion. Right ?
@Stark the article made it sound like you needed to be able to name it, but possibly.
@stound Odd. I feel like there are things people feel all the time and don鈥檛 even know what it is they鈥檙e feeling. It happens to me a lot. There are things I feel that I sometimes can鈥檛 even explain or know what it is.
@Stark maybe. I dunno.
