I want a decent guy in my life

@BetweenKittensandRiots he is decent enough, just he swings in his moods and I get this gaslighting moments. I think I should move on, but I still have feelings for him.

@JessicaVl my dad is angry all the time, he drives my mother crazy...

it's hard to imagine being like him with my partner. I'm terrifed to even upset her. There's a gross power imbalance and i'm just glad she's too decent to exploit it.

he did that to me.... I don't act that way wit her .... I wonder if things would change if she wasn't 2500 miles away but... I know she considers us equals but I don't....

@JessicaVl the primary reason I don't want to be a bread winner, my dad was. she cannot afford it... plus he'd kill himself or just let himself go to an early grave by refusing to take care of his diabetes. To be clear I WISH she'd divorce him and we could go live together....

I love my dad but I want to get out of here. he's hard to live with.

@JessicaVl i'm going to be a fucking STEM major and if people have not lied severely I should have an easy time after I graduate... Full time student...
