Lying to me in a way that clearly insults my intelligence or level thereof.
@Sapio women are deceptive by nature, but sometimes we get paranoid into believing something that isn't true. You certainly deserve better than being lied to, but perhaps it's wiser to try and understand why instead of punishing her for it.

@GohantheThird though I can understand how you might see it that way, I make it a point not to paint all of those of the opposite sex with the same brush.

In truth and to some degree, we are all opportunists in search of some sort of self-gratification. While that can drive us to deceive, it is still within our moral compass to choose as to whether we wish to or not.
@Sapio so then do we punish those who don't share our morality, or forgive them? Some people need that gratification more than others, and while I don't think it's wise to feed it I don't think it's entirely fair to hate them for it.

@GohantheThird no, I'm no saint. I've never cheated but I cannot deny ever being a sinner.

I know what I want and what needs to be equal to have a successful relationship. If I don't see the equal plane or a chance of it, I move on. I punish no one.

I have given up waiting on the hope that a person will change. People change for themselves and themselves alone.
@Sapio fair enough.
