My mom isn't even interested like she wasn't 25 years ago. Should I just forget my mom?

Yes forget her and move on with your life. You don't need your mom.

My mom was barely part of my life. She left us when I was five. It effected is but I feel like it effected me more than my brothers. When guy stuff, they can talk to Dad but I couldn't tell my mom about my period because she wasn't there when I needed her! She was too busy fulfilling her needs and herself! Mom missed out on be becoming a young woman. So my aunt and Grandma had to fill in that role.
Mothers Day I hated that day so much! Still do. Two weeks ago, my mom was suppose to meet up with me but she STOOD ME UP ONCE AGAIN! Honestly, it didn't surprise me. She's done it before. She NEVER apologized or felt horrible for that. My family and friends warned me and tell me I'm too stubborn to listen. I waited for four house she never showed up. I texted her, confronting her why she didn't show up she did this before. She told me harshly, "Look, I don't see you or your brothers as my children anymore. I mean I haven't been around so I don't see you as my daughter. You're no longer my children so see ya, whenever." Something like that. That crushed me HARD. My family and friends told me to move on with my life and I don't need my mom. They said, "I told you so. Face it, your mother doesn't want you."
I'll never have that loving mother I wanted.

If she doesn’t see you as her daughter, do you think she’s really your mum? 🧐🧐

@Mona86 She is my mom. She gave birth to is. I broke down crying when she said that. When I told my brothers they were hurt too. But they brushes it off and told me I need to move on. One of them said, "Well I don't see her as our mother! A real mother wouldn't just drop us like that. If that's the way she wants to be, so be it! Tough then. Shit happens, forget mom, MOVE ON ALREADY." The other one said, "You need to let go of her. She made it clear that she wants nothing to do with us. Get that in your head."
