Who will help my daughter, my angel, Angela? Who will care?
I don't plan on doing anything today, but try to find a way to get my daughter's story out to the public. I wrote to three newspapers and the Governor of Illinois, for help, with no response. Also, no help from her counselor or the police. How do I get the word out? I wrote on Facebook, but no one cared. Needless to say, I have exhausted my resources, and the answer is NOT to have her committed to a mental institution, where they'll just strap her to a bed, drug her up, and let her die, because timing is very crucial now. She needs real professional help right now, not tomorrow, as even her doctor said she could have a heart attack or stroke at any time, and it ticks me off that I don't have the means to send her to a beautiful ranch to save her life, like they do on the Dr. Phil show. They said they'd have her on the show, but then they never returned our follow-up calls. I do not blame Dr Phil's workers, because I think my daughter probably lied to them and told them she was okay. Besides, I can't force her to go for help. I tried.
She is 5'11", only weighs about 100 lbs., is not getting any nourishment, is not eating, and is dehydrated. She is 40 yrs. old. She refuses to see me or talk to me, as she knows I'm trying to get her to go to the hospital. If she passes out in her apartment with no one there to save her, no one will know she even needs help, or may have died. The police will help a drunk in the street, before they will save my daughter's life. They infringed on the drunk's life! What about my poor, confused daughter? She cannot even think for herself!! The last time I talked to her, she said, "I don't understand what is going on." ... and was crying. She refused to go to the hospital, and walked out, nothing but skin and bones. Couldn't even figure out how to use her phone!
In case you missed my earlier post about my daughter's horrible disease, she has anorexia, and is dying. Yet everyone refuses to help, even the police, because "she has RIGHTS". Yes, it really makes sense to protect someone's "rights", although their mind is so ate up with a disease, they cannot even reason that they are dying! So we'll just let this poor soul DIE because "she has rights". Even though they know her "rights" will take her to her grave!! How can they call themselves "doctors", when they took an oath to SAVE lives. Her "Mental Health Counselor" knows exactly how cruel this disease is, and how it distorts the mind so my daughter cannot even see she needs help or she is going to die, yet refuses to have her admitted to the local hospital, because of her "rights". Well, I have news for Dr. Laura. Angela's RIGHTS were TERMINATED the minute the anorexia took over her mind! How many other anorexic/bulimic victims will have to die because they have "rights"?? Contrary to belief, a person with anorexia can't "just eat" or be force-fed and the problem is solved. Even conventional practices from a family physician won't help. They MUST be treated by a expert physician who specializes in treating nothing but these type eating disorders.
