I wonder why some people hate honesty?

First off I believe honesty is super awesome to have. I think that people like to live in a pretend little world where they don't have to look at their own actions or take responsibility for their words. Honesty shocks them out of this little world. Makes them look at themselves. Often they don't like what they see.

Ignore the insult and understand that they can’t work with the truth.

They don't want their illusions destroyed.
