Uh oh. My computer still runs it. I guess I should... I don't know, upgrade or something?
PiecingBabyFaceTogether · 26-30
@FaeLuna Don't it doesn't really matter unless you want to try windows 10.

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether Sweet! I'm slow and resistant to changing operating systems for some reason. I ran out XP past the support date for that too.

@FaeLuna Windows 10 is functionally similar and generally better. And importantly, secure.
FaeLuna · 31-35, F
@CountScrofula Yeah, I use it at work, so I'm used to it. I could make the change if I wanted too. I'm mostly just concerned about the possibility of losing compatibility with some of my programs. I'll have to recheck to see if those rumors are still true.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@FaeLuna It'll vary by program. Compatibility mode can also work for most things. Like i haven't run into that many issues. I'm not an early adopter but I tend to keep on OS releases.

@FaeLuna Basically it's fundamentally the same OS as Windows 7.
The move from XP to Vista was far more traumatic for everyone because of some fundamental changes they made.
Source: I used to do call centre support for Microsoft Vista lol
