Are you, as a non religious person, offended when people say they will 'Pray for you'?

I'm always slightly intrigued by those small groups of people who seem to wander/drift around town clutching a Bible and endless panphlets. Cornering poor individuals who can't find an escape route who then have to endure the "We're offering to pray for people today....routine.

I never know whether to feel offended or whether to treat them the same way you do when somebody with extreme learning difficulties suddenly makes a beeline for you because they just happen to like the colour of your jacket !

No i'my not offended you offer to pray for me.
I'm more offended by the fact I now have to 'entertain' you. In a public place. With every passers-by watching. All breathing a sigh of relief it's me caught up in it not them
