Look around. Caring people are everywhere. Stop watching TV news. Avoid Quinten Tarrintino movies. Find a charity and volunteer and you will make some new positive friends.

I appreciate your kind words but my initial issue is getting a job. I struggle to change my negative thoughts about this. I'm over qualified and don't want to work in the original industry I'm experienced in as it no longer rings true to me but have not been given an opportunity yet in another industry.

@JovialPlutonian: Can you take a temporary job just to give you a change of perspective? The holidays are coming up. Personally, I'm thinking of applying for work at the post office or something like that.

i have no problem working but keeping my morale up in the process of getting a job I find very difficult.
