I feel like I should stop talking to people

Conversation is so unmeasurable. There’s no way to promise a net gain from conversation. Oftentimes, they throw off my day. I really wish we weren’t a social species so I could just be alone and happy. That whole social thing really interferes with my routines. With most people (excluding my best friends Quinn and Sophie and my girlfriend...and strongly including my parents), being social is not sufficiently beneficial, so I want to stop that behavior.

Being social these days means to do what that specific group is doing and identify yourself by that group. Which by all means means getting stoned and drunk and calling it fun, crack cheap jokes on the expense of others, be violent and vulgar and lose respect for everyone including yourself. I never tried to fit-in in any of those groups and I have been happy that way. I listen to everyone, but I don't join any of that band-wagon. It's draining, unproductive, damaging and toxic most of the times.

@ShaythePanTransMan Maybe, but to me hitting the weights on Friday night or spending a romantic evening with my loved one with all my senses intact is fun. I don't really refute other's ways of fun, I'm happy for them, but I don't let any of it come in my way.

@ShaythePanTransMan Sometimes, but I have a fiancee, I have parents and a sister, I have my extended family, they are my responsibility and with that come a lot of challenges that I love.

@ShaythePanTransMan Not really, I have grown over years to handle all that. Seeing things getting better gives me satisfaction. Greater good has been always more important to me than my personal interests.

@ShaythePanTransMan Not for those who go out there and make a difference. We have had people sacrifice their lives for us, worked their whole lives to invent things we use today, never thought for a second before ditching comfort, which is why we all are surviving today.

I am not one of those people.

@ShaythePanTransMan It doesn't make you a bad person. You just want to live your life your ways, and you have all rights to it. No one has the right to judge you based on your life's choices :)
