Creatine before or after a workout?

I've been using it 30 min before my workouts but makes me feel bloated and it's ruining my workouts.

I have read that 3g-5g is enough for a day. But needs lots of water intake too. Some people take it with juice. Creatine monohydrate is suggested as the best. However you need to take some amount of creatine before and immediately after workout. Which gives you strength. You can give break for a month or two from creatine after 12weeks or regular intake. I won't be touching it untill I start with serious and lifting things up. 🙂
