Creatine before or after a workout?

I've been using it 30 min before my workouts but makes me feel bloated and it's ruining my workouts.

@wildbill83 Did it make you feel less flexible while working out?It feels like it swells my muscles so I don't get full movement.

@wildbill83 I use to take it in highschool. Creatine fuel. And it did the same thing.

and it's actually better taken with juices rather than water (apple, grape, etc.)

@wildbill83 I'll try that.it actually doesn't taste as bad as I remember.

@Lostpoet that's what its meant to do (draws/retains water into muscles); staves off muscle exhaustion when you work up a sweat; I just push through it

I always found that it reduced impact fatigue and sped up recovery as well (after 10-15 miles, running on pavement feels like stomping concrete barefooted when fatigued)
