Creatine before or after a workout?

I've been using it 30 min before my workouts but makes me feel bloated and it's ruining my workouts.

@BeefySenpie yeah just 5 before I lift.
@Lostpoet Try it after then, or splitting it up (though 5g is a small quantity to start with). I don't actually take it myself, so maybe you could consider that too

Basically ends up being a chocolate milkshake

@BeefySenpie Maybe I'll try that instead I just went 5months without working out last year and I was trying to make up for the gains I lost.
