Do you feel like you can do anything? Do laws protect your freedom or do they take away your freedom?

I think America is a free country to a certain point. Our federal government is very corrupt. The NSA, CIA, and law enforcement should not be allowed to spy on us. This is sort of a free country but we are not as free as we think we are.
