My hospital bill is $770. Guess what it's going to collection because I can't pay it and I don't care anymore.

That is actually not bad!!
Don't get me wrong, it is a lot of money, but getting away from the hospital owing them only 770.00 is pretty amazing.
I do hope you fins a way to pay it though. Collections will end up costing you more and they always find a way to get their money. Always.

@nonsensiclesnail So, depending on how long the medical collection is on your credit report you COULD settle for paying like 50% of the bill. I have had to do that a few times. Something is better than nothing.

@Snowvixen I've heard of this with credit cards, but not once in my life have I ever had a local collections agency show even a sliver of kindness. Would be nice though.
@nonsensiclesnail I gave them an ultimatum, either you get paid this amount or you can wait... you pick. The picked getting paid.
