What is it with people disappearing in the middle of a conversation?
It keeps happening! Having a nice chat about whatever, then boom, they disappear. No 'gtg soz', no 'my house is on fire brb', they just stop talking XD

This is true. Frustrating, too. I even try to re-gain their attention but never any luck. I sometimes have to disappear quickly cause of timing, but will check messages later that day and respond then.
