There's a woman in the UK named Joy who can smell Parkinson's disease and researchers are currently using her superhuman nose to figure out a way to predict the illness long before it sets in.

If the Earth was the size of the Sun, it would fuse the iron in its core and create a supernova instantly.

Crocodiles, jellyfish, and lobsters among others are effectively immortal. They don't die of old age. And they don't get frail the older they get.
Crocodiles, for instance, grow bigger as they age, but they usually grow so large when they get there that they die of starvation, being unable to obtain enough food to continue growing.
In any case, they're relatively immortal.
It'd be very nice if humans could find a way to use that. Not having to get old and frail.

If you cut the arms off a starfish to kill it, each arm will grow a new starfish. Fishermen who fished with nets used to do after getting them out of their nets thinking they would kill them and lessen the population.

@SW-User Not far from true...the evolution of technology, and thus AI, is proceeding 5 times faster than the evolution of humans.
