I was in my second year of graduate school and had been married 3 months. I saw a bunch of people looking at a TV in a student center on my college campus, and when I asked what had happened, someone said that a plane had hit the World Trade Center. I was like, 👀.

@JustGoneNow It was. I was living in Chicago at the time, and there were rumors that the Sears Tower could possibly be hit in a similar fashion. I was on edge the rest of the day.

@latinbutterfly I was in the Midwest US. It seemed far away but not because it was in our country. Sort of hard to explain.
