I have this issue too. Anything I want or need I have already got for myself.
I try to think of simple cheap things. Like I play guitar so guitar strings are a good go to for me.
But... my best one ever was I told everyone I missed being a kid and getting socks and underwear. I do love the feel of a new pair of socks.
So now... every year I get new socks. :-)
