Im glad they've come to a conclusion but...

Sorry to post this so early.
I can't help but feel the council still holds more responsibility...
Because they knew the material was dangerous and didn't meet the safety regulations yet they still went ahead and renovated the building due to pressures from local rich complainers.

I also think this is a government issue because so many fire stations have closed down leaving fireworkers redundant and the remaining strained. When can you work efficiently if you're dealing with such changes. When can you carry out proper training when you're the only unit within a 5 mile radius of a fire or emergency?[image deleted]

@SW-User 🤷🏾‍♀️ well i would have said common sense should have taken over. I mean 9-11 should have always been the poor example to use. All those lifes lost. But unfortunately that's what this countries become we no longer work on impulse gut reaction years of experience and common sense we work by what's solely written in a book or what's dictated by managers that look at the financial profitability or the potential losses.

If people had time to escape they should have automatically been told to leave the building.
