Always put something away. Even small amounts add up over time. Also, place it into a separate account. This way, it's not accessible through your normal means of purchasing.

Stick to single dollar bills when tipping strippers.

Discount grocery store. Make your food at home. Discount gas station. Lol. Discounts!! 😂 plus, don’t spend on things you don’t need. Only necessities and a little extra here and there. Also, put a little in a savings account each month.

If you smoke, quit. A pack a day could run up to $400 a month in some places.

15% is saved regardless of anything. That money is not touched unless life and death is involved. Doesn'y matter how much you make. 15%. It's a life tax.
Reduce your standard of living to bare essentials, if you don't make enough money to save 15%.
Use an app to keep track of ALL of your spending, and you'll prolly be surprised at how much unnecessary shit is in there.
Buy meats at night. Grocery stores will give a decent discount on meats about to expire.
Rice, tuna, oats, PBJ, beans are low cost staples and are actually good for you.
Don't eat out. Ever.
There are free alternatives to a lot of things. Instead of buying books, get them from your library. Can even get a lot of e-books loaned out through Overdrive app.
Main thing is saving, regardless of what you think you need. 15%. Off the top.
You can split that into 1 emergency fund, and one LIFE OR DEATH fund. I do 20%, 10% in each. It sucks. But at least I'll have money when I need it. That's not my money, it's future Tatsumi's money.
