House-husbands

Why are house-husbands not treated with dignity in the society?
A successful mans' housewife gets good respect but a successful woman's house-husband is mocked, laughed and ridiculed! Especially in my country India..

It's just not accepted in society. But at the end of the day if your household is running good and your family is taken care of nothing else really matters.
