The police came the door with a warrant for my younger brother's arrest. He was supposed to show up for a court date and didn't. Only thing was, he hadn't done a thing! We went downtown with our family attorney, and the arresting officer took one look at him and said, "That's not him. The kid I picked up was fat and shorter than he is.."

It was the kid who lived next door. When he was served with the warrant, he gave my brother's name. When they came looking for him, he was in jail across the city on an unrelated crime.

@popmol Love to, but I can't. He's dead and buried. He's the same kid who set our garbage cans on fire and did property damage to our house when he lived next door. He ran away from home, and rumor was he became a male prostitute and was killed by a client in some fleabag hotel downtown.
