@Girlyfriendcollecting oh I see. So if you don't talk nobody is filling the silence. That's tough. Anxiety provoking I bet.
@HannahSky you got the anxiety thing right I have been told by therapists I have all sorts of things, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder and anxiety.I tell myself i do not have anything because I dont want anything. but I know i have minor signs of all of them.

@Girlyfriendcollecting if you do something that's calming in those situations, that's a good thing. Maybe talking helps that.

Given my job (Manager of a Nightfill team in a large supermarket), I have to talk.
I can often go days with out physically speaking to anyone. I have been able to go a good two weeks without speaking to anyone. Then that need for contact hits, and away I go.
It all depends on you. If you like to talk, then talk. Learn when you need to be quiet.
