@Triggerer Let’s day you use this site to vent about something. You can vent to yourself or a therapist but you chose a social site because you want someone to know what you’re venting about. You want attention.

@wilderflower That doesn't even make any sense. If you want to vent about something , you surely can't vent to yourself , otherwise it wouldn't be called venting. Unless you have split personality and you can talk things out with yourself. And second, therapist is needed in some extreme cases. I don't have those. I want others to hear what I'm venting about and hear their opinion and advice in order to feel better... Which venting is used for
