is the Pocono's fun? We're going in october to the romantic getaway!

I've never been to "Pocono's Palace" but I've been to other places in the Pocono's. Yes, it can be very fun - depending, of course, on the resort and also what you make of it. The area is absolutely gorgeous in the fall, so you'll have that in your favor. There are some tourist traps / site-seeing places, if you're so inclined. Otherwise, stay in, snuggle, and reconnect with your partner; there are far worse ways to spend a weekend, after all. :)

I've never been to that specific place; I liked the mountains there in general when I'd go. I expect it'll be vaguely touristy. probably with some not very good weather.

If you are going in the fall it is beautiful.
