Have you noticed today that people get all wound up over things they can't change and are quite frankly none of thier concern?

Like politics of a forign country, a pic of some famous person taken 20 years ago, or any of the other crap that makes it into the news today. Quite frankly, who cares? I don't.

Yes. My personal experience has told me that people like this are usually being worked up and indoctrinated by whatever propaganda flatters their egos the most.

It used to happen to me, ever since I dropped cable TV and didn't let myself get worked up about the outrage du jour on social media I feel way more in control, calm, and not bothered by the exact kind of nonsense you are referring to.

Who cares indeed?

Open Borders Inc. It's all the media's work. In the USA virtually nobody raises their attention above the president's voice.

But when we do we should stand United. The hard left in the US has been allies and at the very least silent accomplices to:

the destruction of our middle class,

the expansion of domestic poverty,

the European and western American continent's anti US sentiment,

unpreparedness of youth, low academic standards...

I could list a hundred other things.

When the actions of a country have international impacts, everyone effected may have an opinion. Our countries are physically close neighbours with an unprotected border. Decisions regarding environmental issues impact us all, as do trade issues and many other things. We’re all sharing one planet and are all entitled to opinions regarding global issues :)

People are entitled to opinions on anything, even about goings on in a country that they don't live in.

@SW-User oh of course they are, but why care is my point.

@Steveinlandsea well, some get awfully worked up, I don't know why..discussion is one thing, arguing and name calling another. I don't like Trump, and once was told by an American person on here that I'm not entitled to not like him or think about him or have any opinion as it's non of my business as I'm not American.

Well... what can you say to someone with that kind of reasoning.

@SW-User yah people like that drive me nuts. I'm an American, couldn't care less about Trump or who ever bought their way into the white house. Who ever is president doesn't have any real effect on our lives anyway. at least none that I can see from my house and that's all that matters to me. But then again, I'm a Vermonter and we petitioned to be part of Canada anyway.
