@Notanymore because you don't need them. I've driven in the states...it's one long road...turn 90 degrees..another long road...repeat forever.
Over here roads are generally more twisty turny...so you need a manual to cope with that better.

@vorian understood....but there's a lot of different roads here..... especially in the country....
