Why do immigrants never go back to their country if they're so proud of it?

I met so many Indian Hindu immigrants in Canada and America who are pro Hindu and extremely racist when it comes to dealing with Muslims or blacks. They sneer at Western culture and force people around them to accept their culture. They talk about how 'developed' and 'cultured' their country is at every moment but never have the heart to go back.

As an American, my opinion counts as much as yours regardless of where I live. I know some Texans think the nation revolves around them, but there are also people of Mexican descent in my part of the country and some of them are, gasp, “illegal”. I’m quite certain my grasp of Texas is superior to yours of the Upper Midwest. Your original meme is moronic because it presumes that Mexican immigrants want to change the US into Mexico.

This nation has ALWAYS been changing and evolving and much of it has been because of the influx of immigrants from everywhere, which has made it the most dynamic nation on earth. And some have always been uncomfortable with that change. For 150+ years of mass immigration. Well, evolve, adapt and stop crying about people showing pride in their homeland in this country. This happened in New York, Chicago, Boston, LA, Seattle etc long before it happened in Texas. People acclimated. So can you. @JesseInTX

You don’t know Texas at all. Name me 5 places you’ve been to outside of Houston, Dallas,Austin, San Antonio @luckranger71

Glad you’re reduced to this and not defending your original premise. About 60% of Texas’s population lives in those places so I’d say they’re really damn important to understanding Texas 😂. Never been to San Antonio. Been to Lubbock, San Marcos and S Padre.

I’m sure you can completely understand Illinois without taking Chicago into account 😉@JesseInTX

So you travel here a few times? When was the last time you were here?

Hahahaha. So in other words, you got nothing. @JesseInTX

No not at all. You got nothing. So sleep on that empty pillow of yours @luckranger71

You “real Texans” are so sensitive. I mean what say do the inhabitants of the four largest cities in the state have a say in anything? 😂@JesseInTX

@luckranger71 Untrue-- migration in the U.S. was only unrestricted during its first century of existence. Federal laws have always been to restrict immigration for the specific reason to NOT change our culture. The "quota migration" law only changed in 1965.

@luckranger71 There hasn't been any "MASS-IMMIGRATION" for the last 150 years--- much of the last 150 years, until 1965 has seen some of our most restrictive migration policies. Education, health, race, politics all were considered when allowing or rejecting immigrants. For better or worse, moral or immoral, principled or unprincipled--- those are the facts...
