Why do immigrants never go back to their country if they're so proud of it?

I met so many Indian Hindu immigrants in Canada and America who are pro Hindu and extremely racist when it comes to dealing with Muslims or blacks. They sneer at Western culture and force people around them to accept their culture. They talk about how 'developed' and 'cultured' their country is at every moment but never have the heart to go back.

Being Hindu is a religion, though. 🤔 I assume moving to a different country is already complicated enough, doing it twice when it’s not necessary would be a bit much, especially if you do not have the finances to support it.

@McRen immigration to a country like America costs thousands. If they are able to afford it, they certainly can live in their home country happily
Maybe it took them a long time to save that amount. Do not forget, if they are from a 3rd world country, a new job may not be easily available. @JBird

@McRen there's nothing wrong with people moving to a country. But there are certain things people have to look forward in a new country like accepting their host countries' culture and not acting like they're still in their home country
I don’t view assimilation as necessary, as long as you obey the laws. @JBird
@McRen If you come from a place with different laws and mores, that is assimilating, to some extent.
But you’re not assimilating your cultures, that’s my point. Don’t nitpick with me. @bijouxbroussard
@McRen Never mind, if you're sensitive I won't bother.
I’m not sensitive. I just don’t like people like you. @bijouxbroussard
@McRen "people like" me ? Understood.
Yeah, people who nitpick at the stupidest stuff for no reason. @bijouxbroussard
@McRen Actually, the only point I was making was that some laws whence people are immigrating are so different from the West that observing and obeying our laws is a form of cultural assimilation. It's the reason for some clashes.
I don’t care. Go away. You understand my general point. You don’t have to be so annoying. @bijouxbroussard
@McRen Sensitive. Goodbye.

@McRen Assimilation is necessary, very necessary, ask a Roman,,, oh you can't,, because their society was swallowed and erased from the Earth by the hordes that did not "assimilate"-- Been that way since man first walked the plains of Africa.
Lol sorry but one society that had many more issues than just that is not a very good example. Maybe you don’t know as much history as you think you do. @GERRI

@McRen One doesn't need a degree in history to understand your flawed assumption assimilation into a society isn't a necessity-- only a reasonable understanding of what a cohesive society is.. Laws are the fabric of any society-- "following the laws" without assimilating is contradicting. Especially in a society governed by a Representative Republic.

Seems many of you get your talking points either from the Tea Party or the Democrat National Committee.
Assimilating has to do with culture and behaviour. Most countries generally have similar laws. It’s not too far of a stretch for them to still keep their culture. If you go to Russia, they almost have the same laws as the USA, but a completely different style in behaviour and culture. You don’t need to change that to still follow the same laws. Laws have very little to do with culture. @GERRI
