[c=#4C0073]Do you feel that minorities are predisposed to violence, and take more than they contribute?

There is no need to comment but if you could give an honest selection in the poll I'd appreciate it. This is not a racially charged post. I do not want bickering about who's culture is better or what not. I would just like a general consensus. Please n thank you. [/c]

What?? How the fuck can you believe this is not a racially charged post? You're asking a question based on an explicitly racist premise; that people who are not white have a genetic predisposition to unsavory behaviour. I'm normally polite about this, but what the hell are you thinking?

[c=#4C0073]I'm trying to find out what others think. I'm hearing this kind of talk a lot from my vanilla colored siblings and I want to know how many really feel this way or has it just become popular to fell that whiteness is somehow under attack from everyone else.

I actually saw a post the other day that said minorities should be grateful that "white ancestors" allowed them to be the "tools" to realize their dreams, because minorities are incapable of dreams of this magnitude, meaning America. Minorities should be grateful for slavery and indentured servitude because they could be suffering in a poor country due to the fact that they are incapable of organizing a high functioning society. OKay, that's a more reasonable explanation. Just be clear though, this is a racially charged question because you're asking about a racially charged issue.

People feel whiteness is under attack because the economy is bad, particularly in rural areas. People like Donald Trump will then tell them that things are bad because there's bad crime in the streets and scary illegal immigrants and other things. But basically that the weak people (minorities who do not have much power) are to blame for all the problems in the world. Not hte people with the power and money - the CEOs and bankers and so forth. So no, minorities are not predisposed to violence, but people are being told racist lies about them to give them someone to blame for heir problems.

[c=#4C0073]I really don't understand that though. When the economy is bad the rural areas suffer, but the minorities are basically left to fend for themselves. They are already on the lowest rung of the economy scale.[/c]@TyphoidJerry:

You're absolutely right. It's about preying on fears and giving people easy targets who can't fight back.
