@VioletRayne: in my I opinion the one solution is to not give a crap about the opinions of others. They will have their limited, narrowminded and underinformed, generally ignorantly stupid and butt hurt, emotionally driven thoughts and judgments. Their minds can't be changed. I'd go about my business trying to be the best citizen that I could be and let inane stupidity die on the vine or get left behind. Life's to short. The boat for more interracial, interethnic, intercultural, interfaith, international friendships, relationships and marriages had already left and is not coming back. Not saying anything is wrong with having friends and relationships of all kinds only or mostly with people that look, talk, think and act just like you cuz there certainly isn't. But for more and more people that's no longer enough. And with faster, cheaper travel and high tech and cheap, instant communicator around the entire world that's just going to grow. People no longer have to wonder what other people from....Cambodia (example) are like or deoend on someone else's opinion about them. They can skype with a native Cambodian and learn first hand themselves and even go there and experience for themselves. Less and less people are accepting the forced brainwashing bs about "other people". Stereotypes are vanishing. People are getting smarter. Bigots, racists and the prejudiced are a dying bread despite what the media sponsors and truly highly privileged with power to back it up want yoo to believe. It's just s matter of if you're forward thinking or not and have the courage to get off the hamster wheel or not. That's doesn't mean one has to have to interest in other ethnics and cultures as I do or seek interracial relationships. I mean that the world is changing and everyone needs to evaluate for themselves whether they'll accept the changes and role or not and contribute to their own misery by trying to prevent the tidal wave. There'll always be plenty of butt hurt losers that fear losing something to someone else - real or imagined and that manifestation unusually expresses itself in some form of hatred or intolerance of others in order to maintain a false sense of superiority. Let those stay on the hamster wheel of misery. I chose to move forward. And no I'm not considered a minority here in the USA.
