Do you beelive in just being 'yourself'?

Back when I was in my 20's I used to think I had to put an act on in front of people etc in all sorts of social situs and interactions. Im 37 now, and for the last few years I'm learning that jsut being you is the best person you can be. Being someone else just isnt worth it. I've one life and I'm just super cilled being me. I just get one shot at this. So do you.

No one can trully be else than theirself.
But no one can be only that.
We became humans also because we are a social species.
And we are significative individuals because we are also social.
And if not, we are not.

If "being myself" means spelling "believe" like that, then no.

I would be fairly ridiculous trying to be someone else. Hell I have enough trouble being me.
CharlieZ · 70-79, M
@monte3 That is what happens to me too!😁

Same here I try to be myself
TheChrister · 41-45, M
@Darci Yeah it's the best way. we end up not hurting ourselves or fecking up when we try to put a persona on :)
