No, I don't know of anyone that celebrates these federal holiday's, most either sit in front of the TV doing nothing or have a picnic. It would be just another day off.

To be honest, that’s how I’m leaning towards the question myself. Plus, I also think about the goal of the terrorists to disrupt daily life and bring us to a complete halt, and I think the best way to counter that might be going to work and school and treating it as much as a BAU day as we can. @curiosi
