I don't believe in hell. If I were to go by Roman Catholic edicts, I would go straight there because I haven't gone to confession since I was 16 and my mom physically forced me.

@Dan193 I've been living an ethical life for many years! Between the last confession and that point, though, there were some misadventures. Funny thing is, at that last confession I figured I might as well go for it and I told the priest some things that I honestly felt guilty about: Small lies, more like exaggerations. And hate and resentment. He totally blew them off, said they weren't sins.

@Lucinda wow, I asked my priest about having bad thoughts, if that's a sin. And he said temptation and contemplation of hate also stains your soul. Tbh I forgot about that, and I still find myself doing it almost daily (stressful environment), but now since you reminded me of it, I'll try to stop myself from doing it and maybe even have a more calm mind. Fingers crossed it works xD
