When was the last time you've seen stars

A full night sky with no city lights no street lights no car lights no damn lights blocking you from the heavens

My son-in-law took this picture when all the stars were aligned just right. The red circle i drew, is the planet Saturn. How cool is that?

@CereBellum That's more than just cool. It's grand.
@Wraithorn He actually planned that specific date/time/location for taking it. Yosemite National Park about 3 or 4 am.

@CereBellum I'm glad he was rewarded with a clear sky. He must have been well chuffed and rightly so.

A couple yrs ago when I lived in a rural area. It's sort of the kind of sight that hits me in the chest, rises up in my throat, fills my head and gently sets my mind free.

A couple of weeks ago I went to and area at camp where there is not a lot of light pollution and just looked at the stars for almost an hour. You can see so many there it is just breathtaking.

@rjc36 I love it

Last light, and the night before, and the night before that. Oh, and tonight, unless the sky will be cloudy! 😁

Very early Saturday morning, on a day trip. Saw the stars. It was nice!

As long as there are no clouds, I can see them.
