Should a 14 year old mass murderer be tried as an adult or juvinille

A 14 year old in north Carolina killed his father than shot 4 people at an elementary school. One those people later died. The kicker is he's been charged as a juvenile. I didn't even know that was possible in some states. In ga It would been automatically been an adult charge

That's murder but it's not mass murder. Though it is INTENT to mass murder. And yes he was fully aware of what he was doing. He literally had to go from point A of the first murder to point B of the second murdering. Totally justifiable as an adult charge.

How is it not. If those kids were already on that playground and been more than 4 shot I'm sure

Its still premeditated least on the part of the dad

As I said it's INTENT to do so. The actual result didn't occur. Someone can intend to blow up a park but have it fail. You still don't go around telling everyone there's no park to go to because it got blown up when it didn't actually happen.

So he has two accounts of murder with the INTENT of mass murder and that's what he should be charged with. And as stated previously it's clear that he knew what he was doing and was in full control. It wasn't a crime of passion as that would have ended with his fathers life. So he should be fully charged as an adult.

Totally agree. It's bullshit that he's being charged as a minor when his actions are anything but that!

@WhoIsThatPokemon: in ga there's 12 crimes that are automatically tried as an adult if over 12. 9 of which are murder all has to involve a gun

There would be no question here
