Should a 14 year old mass murderer be tried as an adult or juvinille

A 14 year old in north Carolina killed his father than shot 4 people at an elementary school. One those people later died. The kicker is he's been charged as a juvenile. I didn't even know that was possible in some states. In ga It would been automatically been an adult charge

They may have charged him as a juvenile so that any conviction wouldn't be overturned because he is one. Old enough to know better than to kill people anyway.

I know and maybe that there is something they are not saying. He may very well have some sort of issue they aren't revealing

@sassygirl15: Two brothers in Oklahoma planned to kill their family and wanted to kill others afterwards, like 10 or more at a time and then continue, I guess some twisted fantasy they shared. They ended up killing 5 family members, one killer is underage and the other is older and just got sentenced to 5 terms of life without parole, ensuring he will never be out in public again.

@cherokeepatti: a friend my mom's had to permanently institionalize her 15 year old cause he was showing signs of being this type of person. Even attempted to drown his baby brother 3 times

@sassygirl15: sad but they need to be removed from the public, a very real threat to society. I've read about serial murderers and many of them start fantasizing about doing it sometime in their teen years and may act out on it later when they get the nerve to do it.

@cherokeepatti: the state told my mom's friend either put him in a home or they take her other 2. He's in a group home for children 38th severe mental issues.

@sassygirl15: I remember in the 70's there was a boy here in central Oklahoma that was mutilating horses, slashing them. They finally figured out it was him and he was sent to a mental facility and got out when he was 18 and started doing it again. Believe he was convicted and put in prison for it. Someone this past year has been multilating and killing horses and I've wondered if it was that same person doing it once again. Killed several horses and has hurt others that survived.
