Why do people think everyone wants to hear their crappy music

This lady at work has one of those portable speakers and it's really loud. Everyone in the breakroom can hear it but I don't want to hear that crap

I've noticed lately that people out walking at the park are carrying portable speakers instead of using earbuds like normal people have done for years. I hope this isn't the start of one of those new annoying trends.

@chrisCA lol yes i remember those days but i thought with newer high quality devices and earbuds that those days would be long gone.

@chrisCA I was wondering if that's what it was. I mean, we're all walking around the lake in the sunshine, the ducks are talking, the people are quacking.. then suddenly someone walks past with this crappy speaker stuck to them playing ABBA 😖
