Does he think Im too young for him?

Tonight was the first night back for work... and once he realized i was working he would come over and start up convos.. whatever casual... he was being his normal wise ass self when we were all cleaning up and he said something ..so i jokingly flipped him off... and he said “i want a great job from you especially kid” ugh why... that word... does that mean he sees me as a kid
