Sorry to learn of that. if you feel you are correct in this do NOT back down. They can learn their place sometimes.
You'll apologize (sort of) but it won't be for a few days. And it won't be for them or because you admit defeat or craziness. But you will do it FOR YOU so you can move on and get past this. A lesson lost on men,...sadly.
