If he heard me laughing at a text and he asked "let's see" I'd have no problem as it's probably a funny video!
If he just asked could he look through my messages also I'd be not happy..

Most likely but depends on the texts. Some are confidential...not that I'm hiding anything but because the other trusts me with their privacy.

I can't stand others going through my stuff, phone included. But if she was really worried about it and it was a serious relationship, yeah.

I do not care if she sees them but there is a third party involved who might desire privacy. The reality is that I do not have any locks on my phone or tablet.
