I would return it no matter the amount of cash

I've returned every wallet I've ever found. Once, I found one belonging to an 18-year old woman while out walking. I returned it to her house on my walk and her father answered the door. Turns out the wallet was stolen from his daughter a couple days before in a robbery in which she was beaten to the point of hospitalization. She had just been released from the hospital. They were thankful for the return of the wallet, credit cards, ID, etc.

Cash makes no difference in the rate of return. Return it always.

The amount of cash is irrelevant....if I know how to find the owner, I’ll return it.
Even at zero I'd return it. It's not mine.
I would return it regardless. It’s not mine.

Why does the amount of money in the wallet have anything to do with you returning it? Don't you just return it regardless? Or has the UK changed that much for the worse since I left 30 years ago.

That really is the point of my survey. Does the likelihood of returning it go up or down the more the amount goes up. And no, not everyone is honest 😂@ninalanyon

@Miserablegitsometimes Then you should have had a 'It doesn't matter' entry in your poll.

With such low amounts, my mind would consider the person hard-pressed for cash, so whatever it contained would be doubled and then returned,
