Is it okay to have a competitive relationship wiht my boss?

We've had a dance battle, rap battle, pool jousting, played basketball and done other stuff to compete.

As long as your boss enjoys it and is ok with winning and losing sure.
I do find it a bit tricky to get too friendly with my boss. I try to avoid that.
