Sears sold the Craftsman tool line to Stanley Tools. They cut a deal with Lowe's and are now selling Craftsman tools. I was examining the tool chest and I noticed the drawers didn't operate smoothly. Has anyone else noticed this? Is Craftsman going downhill? What brand toolbox would you buy?

I have an older bottom from Harbor freight and I like it but not sure what the new ones are like.

True but I didn't get the top box. I am looking for one of the older ones. @Stereoguy

You may want to look for a used old one. If I find one close enough I will. @Stereoguy

Some people want a lot for them but I have seen some more reasonable just a little farther away than I wanted to go to get them. I figured I am not in a hurry for it so I will just wait. @Stereoguy

I hope so. Maybe I may but the new set at harbor freight some day if they look good. The price is a lot more reasonable. @Stereoguy

Oh it is on the tall side. Like the older craftsman boxes like my son has. @Stereoguy

Check the coupon. Sometimes they exclude items like tool boxes @Stereoguy
