Well, for one thing you said you always wanted a tattoo. Secondly, you said God is your anchor . So I thought it would be very nice and a good witness, since you really want a tattoo, to have these words on an anchor that said "God is my refuge and strength. A very present help in times of trouble. Psalms 46:1
I'm wondering why you chose to put something about home instead of God, since you said you're a Christian.
But you are right. We're not supposed to mark our body, but I feel Christ was speaking of defiling his temple with ugly markings or sayings. I could see a bible verse as a witness for Christ, as our body is indeed, His. You also have the option of putting a verse on a t-shirt, if you want to make a statement to the world, or an anchor necklace that quotes a bible verse. Those are making a great personal statement without marking your body.

@Gr8Guy1979 It would, but you have to do what makes you happy, no one else. Either would be just fine. You don't need anyone's validation or permission to make it feel right. Pray about it then do what God lays on your heart to do. I love that you love God. I'm excited for you. Let me know what you decide!
