I rarely ever have the hick ups, but today I had them 7 different times.

Any clue what would cause them? I did notice that anytime I ate they would start.

Any diet changes? Were you eating too quickly? Spicy stuff?

@Stereoguy it really depends on how quickly you metabolize the anesthetic. But if you can walk and drink water, to help it move out quicker, you should be fine or it should lessen considerably tomorrow.
And you're welcome. Happy healing!

They are from the anesthetic. They'll eventually go away. Did the same thing to my friend after surgery. -I know the remedy for them, but forget what it was just now. I'll get that for you. Worked for my friend and he had them non-stop, for days, poor thing.

It wouldnt work to cure them because im not there, but the cure to getting rid of hiccups is to scare someone, or accuse someone of doing something...not sure if everyone knowa that but my mom tried it on me and it worked!

Was you eating or drinking anything different than you usually do? When I was pregnant when I would drink a Dr. Pepper the baby would have hiccups. Every time.

Usually hiccups are caused by access air, while eating. Carrots, apples, and foods like that are great for causing hiccups.

Good news: You probably don't have Ebola. Bad news: You might have ebola.
