Suppose if a person who’s gone through life without having read much of anything or learned much of the typical curriculum. But still has redeeming

Qualities to them. Would this person be unintelligent? Or could it be that intelligence lies within just not in conventional ways?

There is a difference between smart and intelligent. A person can be one or the other. Some are both. My grandfather wasn't an intellectual but he was a smart and successful person despite not having gone to high school. Unconventional at times yes.

Intelligence comes from within, memorizing what others have told you isn't necessarily intelligence.

There is book smarts and street smarts
Most of human history was made by people without a formal education. It didn't make them stupid. I don't think many people for example would call Lincoln stupid just because of his edu. Formal edu just makes it easier to reach your potential. But sadly most people don't care about reaching that potential.

Hm, I'd say more uninformed and uneducated. I think intelligence is built on more than just reading and knowing curriculum.

I would consider them uneducated, which to me is pretty importance to intelligence.

If someone is literate and has internet access and still has shit for brains, then I would consider them unintelligent. That's about half the population from my experience.
