“I’m sorry...I was wrong...I apologize”
are good things. Saying ‘I’m sorry” repeatedly doesn’t actually mean you’re sorry. It means you want the other person to forgive you and forget it ever happened. They may not be ready to do that.

@Mamapolo2016 Exactly. Sometimes when people are wronged, they're just angry for a while after, and saying sorry repeatedly won't fix that, sadly. Some people just need to cool down and move on in their own way, in their own time.

@SW-User Yes. If you are truly sorry, you may have to live with the cold shoulder for an hour or a day or so.
