I can't understand why some persons don't believe in the supernatural or spirits / ghosts

Like why are you assuming only humans and exist and nothing else. There could be a lot of things that do exist that we don't even know about.

i mean, yeah, there technically *could* be supernatural things. but since i have absolutely no evidence for them whatsoever in any shape or form, maybe i'll just... not believe in them? you know, like what a sensible person might do? only believe things that are evidenced?

The problem is there are just so many con artists who claim all kinds of nonsense for money.
I must admit that between the age of about 5 and 12 I did see things sometimes that simply should not or could not have been there. I remember it clearly still but have no idea why it happened or what it really was.

Because I have an education in molecules and how things actually work. All known things are not magic, they happen for knowable reasons. Not once has science had to back track and say, blimy, we got that equation wrong, it really was magic.

I don’t believe in them. I believe in stuff bigger than me. To me they either do or don’t exist.

Thats true. Seeing is believing.

I agree with this.

It's more often than not a lack of a belief in the supernatural rather than an explicit belief that the supernatural doesn't exist.
